  1. Create and Log In to To Your 3Shape Communicate Account

  1. Share the 3Shape Communicate Link 

  • After completing your design in Dental System or TRIOS Design Studio:​​

    1. Select "Save and Send" or "Communicate".

    2. Enter the email address of Sense Dental Lab as the sharing target. 

    3. Enable the “Link Sharing” or “Case Sharing” feature.

  1. API or External Integration Setup 

  • If you need to connect with external software or devices, follow the 3Shape API documentation, or contact their support team to set up a custom integration. ​​

iTero

1. Create and Log In to To Your MyiTero Account 

  • Visit the MyiTero Portal.

  • If you don’t have an account, sign up and log in. ​​​

​

2. Set Up Scan Data Sharing 

  1. After completing your scan on iTero scanner:​​

    • Save the case and select the "Case Submission" or "Share" option.

  2. Enter the email address of Sense.dental.lab@gmail.com as the recipient. 

  3. If needed, configure sharing permissions and select the desired data format (e.g. STL, tooth numbers, etc.), then confirm.

3. Manage and Export Data Formats

  • To integrate with external software, enable STL export:​​

    • Use the "Export STL" feature in the MyiTero portal to download the data or upload it to a designated platform.​

​

4. iTero API or Connection Setup (Optional)

  • To integrate iTero with other systems, utilise the iTero API or contact Align Technology's support team to request a custom setup.

Medit

1. Create and Log In to To Your Media Link Account 

  • Visit the Medit Link Portal.

  • If you don’t already have an account, sign up and log in to your account. ​​​

2. Share Scan Data with Sense Dental Lab 

  1. After completing your scan in the Medit software:​​

    • Save the scan and click on the "Case Box" option.

    • Select the case you want to share.

  2. Click on the "Share" button and enter the email address of Sense.dental.lab@gmail.com.

  3. If required, include additional notes, instructions, or file formats (e.g. STL).

  4. Confirm the sharing setting and send the link to Sense Dental Lab.

3. Export Data for External Use

  • If you need to use the data with other software, use the "Export STL" option in Medit Link:

    1. Open the case in Medit Link.

    2. Select "Export" and save the STL files locally or to a cloud platform.

​

4. API or Integration (Optional)

  • For custom integrations with Medit scanners, use the Medit API or contact Medit support for assistance in setting up automated workflow.

Sirona

1. Create and Log In to To Your Sirona Connect Account

2. Share Scan Data with Sense Dental Lab 

  1. After completing your scan in CEREC or a Sirona system:​​

    • Save the scan and navigate to the "Case Submission" or "Connect" select.

  2. Select Sense Dental Lab as the recipient by entering the email address Sense.dental.lab@gmail.com.

  3. Confirm the case details, data format, and any additional instructions before sending.

3. Export Data for External Use (if applicable)

  • If external sharing is required (e.g. STL file export):

    1. Enable STL export in your system setting (if supported).

    2. Save the file locally or share it through a cloud platform or email.

​

4. Integration or API (Optional)

  • If you require direct integration with other systems or labs, consult the Dentsply Sirona support team for setting up advanced workflow or API-based connections.
